Vertical Kanban — built for mobile

Kanban Board in Telegram

All your tasks grouped by status in a vertical board designed for phone screens. Unlike traditional horizontal Kanban, iTasks stacks status blocks top-to-bottom — scroll naturally, no pinching or side-swiping. Always in your pocket via Telegram.

Vertical Status Blocks

The Kanban board in iTasks groups your tasks into vertical blocks by status — New, In Progress, Testing, Done, and any custom statuses you have added. Each block has a header with the status name, icon, and task count, followed by the task cards belonging to that stage. The result is a clean, top-to-bottom view of your entire pipeline.

This is a deliberate departure from horizontal Kanban. Traditional boards spread columns side-by-side, which forces horizontal scrolling on any screen narrower than a desktop monitor. iTasks stacks blocks vertically, so you scroll the way you naturally scroll on a phone — up and down. Every task card shows the title, assignee, task type, project color, and current status at a glance.

Custom Columns

Kanban columns are not fixed — they are driven by your workspace task statuses. If you have added custom statuses like "Code Review", "Staging", or "Client Approval", those become columns on your board automatically. Rename a status, and the column header updates. Add a new status, and a new column appears.

This means your Kanban board reflects your actual workflow, not a generic template. Whether your team follows a 3-step process or a 7-step pipeline, the board adapts. Configure statuses once in workflow settings, and the Kanban view follows automatically.

Built for Phones, Not Shrunk from Desktops

Most Kanban tools start with a wide desktop layout and then try to squeeze it onto a phone screen — with awkward horizontal scrolling, tiny columns, and cards you cannot read without zooming. iTasks does the opposite. The board was designed for mobile from day one. Status blocks stack vertically, task cards span the full screen width, and you scroll naturally with your thumb. No pinching, no side-swiping, no landscape mode required.

Since iTasks runs as a Telegram Mini App, the Kanban board is always in your pocket. Check task progress on the bus, during a standup, or between meetings — anywhere Telegram works. Switch between the list view and Kanban view with a single tap using the view toggle at the top. The same data, two ways to see it — pick whichever fits the moment.

Team Overview

The Kanban board gives you a real-time view of your team's workload. Each task card shows the assignee, so you can instantly see who is working on what. If one column is overloaded and another is empty, you know where to rebalance effort — without asking anyone for a status update.

Combined with project color coding, the board becomes a powerful visual dashboard. A quick scan reveals which projects have tasks stuck in testing, who has too many items in progress, and what recently moved to done. It is the kind of overview that replaces a 15-minute status meeting with a 15-second glance.

Smart Filtering

A Kanban board loses its value when it is cluttered with old tasks. iTasks handles this automatically. The Done column shows only tasks completed in the last two weeks, so the board stays focused on recent work. Older completed tasks remain in the task list — they are just not crowding your visual board.

The Backlog is excluded from the Kanban view entirely. Backlog tasks are ideas and drafts — not active work. They live in their own space and only appear on the board when you move them to an active status. This keeps the board clean: only tasks that are actually moving through your pipeline are visible.
